INCBA’s legal education program is one of the most important tools that our attorney members have to help them stay abreast of the legal issues facing their clients in this evolving industry. Our courses and educational series are designed by our own expert members attorneys to address the most topical issues at the local, state/province, national, or international stage. By assuming baseline knowledge of the law and designing our education specifically for active attorneys, INCBA is able to jump into some of the most interesting issues facing the intersection of cannabis and legal practice.
Our educational offerings fall into three primary categories:
- Live Webinars
- In-Person Education
- Educational Series
Our live webinars are generally presented twice per month, on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 11am. The second Wednesday is reserved for US Domestic issues, while the fourth Wednesday focuses on non-US issues, either at the national or international level. For a full list of already-scheduled webinars, see our Events Calendar
Our in-person educational events generally target advanced topics, and are presented at either national cannabis-industry conferences (such as MJBiz and the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) conferences, at our annual Cannabis Law Institute. For a full list of our In-Person Events.
Our in-person education is always accompanied by a social event or party, and our sessions take the form of large lectures, small seminars, and roundtables, often interspersed with business development opportunities. Take a look at our calendar to see what we have in store for the year!
