Catia Kossovsky is a current member of the INCBA’s Board of Directors who is seeking re-election.
She is currently working on the INCBA’s strategic future planning and would like to continue doing so upon re-election. Catia spent her first term as a director assisting the Board in spearheading the INCBA’s trajectory from a start-up to the beginnings of a growth phase. She did this by:
Advising the Board with respect to proper board governance;
Creating the backbone for ongoing assessment of Board strengths and weaknesses;
Evaluating membership needs; and
Evaluating INCBA programming and services.
Catia asks for your vote for re-election so that she can assist in driving the INCBA in strategic planning that will strengthen overall benefit for all members.
Catia’s legal background comprises of practicing in the industry since it became legal in Pennsylvania in 2016. She served three years as the inaugural Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Medical Marijuana and Hemp Committee. Catia focuses her practice in the areas of corporate governance, corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions and private funding. She has a solo practice in Pennsylvania and is of counsel to Hoban Law Group where she previously chaired its corporate and M&A practice group.
Catia also sits on two other non-industry community nonprofit Boards, where she has learned valuable lessons in effective nonprofit board governance. She has brought those learned skills to the INCBA Board. By electing Catia to a second term on the Board, she will be able to provide indispensable know-how and continuous growth to the INCBA.
