I have dedicated the last 6 years of my life to advancing the legal cannabis industry and representing the interests of operators, ancillary businesses, individuals, investors, and industry groups. I bring a unique perspective on the responsibilities of a cannabis lawyer, having represented clients in private practice and as in-house counsel for a MSO, and having assisted clients in both medical and adult-use markets. As the cannabis industry continues to expand, we as counselors must advance and adapt our practices. As counselors to the industry, we must also bridge the divide between the large corporate interests and the individuals working to establish themselves. Equally, as the industry and INCBA continues to expand, it will be important for INCBA’s Board to reflect such expanded membership. INCBA members will benefit from my broad experience and understanding of the needs of small firms, large/national firms, and in-house attorneys. Having assisted clients in multiple markets (domestically and internationally), I will bring a new perspective to the INCBA Board. I believe INCBA should be a unified voice for the thousands of lawyers handling cannabis-related issues. This will require INCBA leadership to reflect its membership and be open to new voices to help expand its reach and membership. Being involved with the INCBA has been and continues to be a vital resource for my practice as a cannabis lawyer, but we can and must do more. We, as industry leaders, can advance social issues facing the industry while being the voice for the expanding legal cannabis environment. I feel it is my responsibility to help be that voice and will bring this drive to the INCBA Board.
My professional experience is broad and reflects the growing industry and INCBA membership. Please see my bio for some of my accomplishments and experience in our industry. Thank you for your vote.
